Spring and leg appreciation

Easter is all about celebrating, and embracing Spring. So staying with that theme I'm celebrating being able to use my legs (which is a big deal when they haven't worked for so long!) for a short while whilst taking my dog out for a little Spring walk!

I love Spring, it's my second favourite season after Summer. I love the lighter evenings and longer days, feeling the temperature slowly rising, and seeing the trees turn pink and flowers begin to bloom. The smell of freshly cut grass is one of my favourite things and with the lovely weather we have been having recently all of my neighbours have given their lawns a mow, which my nose has been thankful for.

I hope everyone enjoys the Easter weekend, what will you be doing? I'm sure my Dad will insist on an egg hunt even though I'm 22 and I'm the youngest in our family, what a bunch of big kids we are!

  1. Excellent photos, Hayley-Eszti! And kudos to you for getting out and about. Like the hat, too. Spring is one of my favorite seasons, as is Autumn. I love to see what pops up in the garden. I want to grow some herbs this year, if I have time. Take care of yourself!

  8. You look so COOL! So put together in a cool outfit, I mean. And your little dog is adorable. I know spring and summer must be so much better for you with more outdoor opportunities. We cleaned house today for Easter, so old folks that we are, we will probably just eat and rest tomorrow.

  16. All about Samson on my blog today. Just saying, in case he would get worried you've deserted him for a cuter puppy!

  17. I know Samson is very happy you stopped by. And thanks for the kind words about him. He has proven to be a wonderful dog. I have had three to four dogs for the past almost 30 years and now it's only Samson. I think it suits him really well, and for me it gives me more of a chance to make him special and also learn about how very special he is.
